“I and the world are one”: the Pentecostal view on God, human and the world
Abstract: Pentecostalism has become a global phenomenon and reinvented the Christian religion in terms of liturgy and spiritual experience, as well as has projected itself as the vanguard of Christian scholarship. Originally Pentecostalism embraced the belief in a triune God, but the centrality of the Spirit made room to the view of oneness in which Christ and the Spirit are manifestations of the same God. Pentecostal theologians defend a pneumatological theology close to panentheism and monism and connected to the African world vision. In this view, through the Spirit, God permeates creation and human beings, and through faith the believer inserts himself into this divine presence with tangible and bodily repercussions, which unfolds in a post-dualist anthropology. This article makes a brief analysis of the Pentecostal concept of God and human in relation to the world. This is a bibliographic research that analyzes data from a theological and anthropological perspective.
